What You Will Do

While making magic at our DVC Discovery Desks throughout the Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts, you will help inspire and influence Guests to take their next steps in learning about Disney Vacation Club Membership. You will work with Guests to find the perfect time in their vacation itinerary to meet with a Sales Cast Member who will explain the benefits and magic of Membership. In addition to providing superior sales and service in face-to-face settings, you may also make phone calls to welcome families who are visiting a Disney destination while entering data into our system of record.

  • Proactively engage with Guests from around the world.
  • Work at different indoor and outdoor locations and engage Guests through Disney service excellence.
  • Proactively engage with Guests and spark a conversation about Disney and vacation possibilities through Disney Vacation Club.
  • Apply your sales skills to uncover interest and then, if appropriate, influence Guests to take time out of their vacation to learn more about Disney Vacation Club by participating in an Open House Tour.
  • Overcome objections and utilize persuasive skills to promote Disney Vacation Club and the different ways to learn more.
  • Share your passion and knowledge of all things Disney with our guests.
  • Demonstrate professional reliability.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ year background in hospitality or other customer-centric industries where anticipating guest needs is key.
  • Experience in proactive sales or lead generation.
  • Willingness to approach people you don't know and engage them in conversation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, heat and cold.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency with computers: Apple iPad/Windows-based systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Disney Vacation Club sales process.
  • Understanding of the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts standards and expectations.
  • Bilingual skills.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
