Summary: Seeking an experienced and highly skilled MySQL Database Administrator with proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS). This is a 100% work-from-home opportunity (CDT hours) . We cannot consider candidates who require visa sponsorship but will consider C2C arrangements. Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain MySQL on RDS and EC2
• Architect high-availability, backup, and disaster-recovery solutions
• Monitor and tune database performance; optimize queries and troubleshoot issues
• Automate provisioning, patching, and scaling with CloudFormation and Terraform
• Strong Linux administration skills and scripting (Bash, Python)
• Collaborate with development and operations teams on schema design and CI/CD integration
• Familiarity with other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) is a plus

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a MySQL DBA
• Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• Expertise in AWS services (RDS, EC2, S3, IAM) The base salary range for this position is $91,457 - $137,186, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
