Entry level Test Technician

What are we looking for? The Test Technician is responsible for conducting testing per test specifications with guidance from more senior engineer. Shift/Schedule: This is a regular full time shift working 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. What you'll do:

• Prepare and setup test samples and test equipment.
• Operate equipment and perform testing in accordance with approved test plan.
• Obtain and record test data in accordance with standards.
• Perform routine calculation and analysis of test data; notify project lead of test failures and/or inconsistencies if applicable.
• May draft test reports.
• Assist with maintaining equipment and lab facilities.
• Perform other work as required.

• EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to utilize basic shop equipment and various hand tools
• Ability to review, understand, and convey technical information in an effective manner
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written formats
• Must be quality focused and customer driven
• Microsoft Office software expertise, including Word, Excel and Outlook
