Mid/Senior Network QA Automation Engineer

We develop modern Software Defined Networking (SDNs) and Network Operating systems-based solutions for the leading networking equipment manufacturers. We work with cloud-native, containerized software and services, as well as with user-space and kernel-space drivers for advanced network equipment such as switches, routers, and smart network interface cards (smartNICs).

- The team consists of developers, QA Automation, and DevOps Engineers
- We often work using hardware and tools provided by the client
- Our projects can be managed by our EMs or directly by the client
- We use Agile methodology (Kanban/Scrum) whenever possible

As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing test automation using Python
- Contribute to Python-based test framework functionalities
- Contributing to document test scenarios
- Ensuring components you are responsible for are well-covered by automated tests
- Being proactive and motivated to deliver high-quality work
- Communicating and collaborating effectively with other developers
- Conducting code reviews for pull requests (PRs) raised by team members
- Maintaining project documentation in Confluence
As a QA Automation Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:
- Experience with Test Automation in Python (version 3)
- Experience with PyTest
- Good knowledge of network concepts - switching and routing, preferably Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge
- Good knowledge of virtualization
- Good knowledge of English (B2+ level)
Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Arista switches and routers
- Knowledge of Cisco iOS XR/XE devices (e.g.: ASR 9000, ISR/ASR 1000 series)
- Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge
- Experience in automation of network devices, YANG models, NETCONF, gRPC/gNMI protocols
- Experience with hardware traffic generators like Ixia, Spirent
