- We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Program Representative to support the coordination and daily operations of federally funded disaster recovery programs, including CDBG-DR and FEMA initiatives.
- This role focuses heavily on project coordination and caseload management, requiring strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- The Program Representative will serve as the main point of contact for applicants, managing inbound and outbound communications through a chat portal and phone calls, maintaining detailed case notes, and guiding applicants through program processes while ensuring compliance with established policies.
- Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams such as Construction and Grant Support, as well as external agencies like Housing Counseling agencies, to facilitate efficient service delivery.
- Key milestones in the process include documenting eligibility, presenting award agreement documents during an award signing meeting, collecting documentation for construction payment draws, and overseeing a caseload to ensure proper project management.
- The role also involves participating in ongoing training, using program-specific systems, analyzing data to improve operations, and preparing official applicant communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel, is essential, along with the ability to maintain professionalism, handle sensitive issues, and support cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
