As a foundational member of the team, you will have broad ownership across numerous services and make product decisions that will define long-term roadmap. As part of this role you will own product strategy for developing new Targeting products in AMC.Ideal candidates have an entrepreneurial spirit, have experience delivering technical products and features that delight customers, understand the analytics and machine learning landscape, and understand the role third-party data plays in making the world run. You work backwards from customer needs on a cross-functional team that includes product management, engineering, legal, marketing, finance, and can envision and communicate product and pricing specifications for end-to-end software solutions. You love talking to customers regularly to find out what they need, but also to keep a firm pulse on where the industry is trending. You are data driven and get into the details, performing market analysis, usability studies, and studying usage patterns to evolve existing services and propose new products and features. You work with engineers and data scientist to define the requirements for the new service and its functionalities. You own internal metrics to measure the content usage and make prioritization decisions, accordingly.Key job responsibilities
  • Write define new Actions ( e.g Targeting and bid boosts) capabilities that provide Customers to optimize their marketing activities.
  • Define requirements for new features, working closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure that the features will help customers to develop actionable insights.
  • Improve the product by understanding customers' needs by consulting with our AMC customers, including agencies and direct advertisers.
  • Make compelling case to prioritize new AMC use cases.
  • Write documentation and short articles to inspire AMC usage, which will be used by advertisers to drive growth across KPIs.
A day in the life
  • Leverage your inner curiosity to learn about Amazon Advertising Products
  • You will collect and organize feedback from customers and internal stakeholders and prioritize the new queries and product features.
  • To get inspiration, you will meet with customers to understand how they are using AMC and identify opportunities for new instructional queries and datasets to onboard.
  • You will work cross-functionally with the Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Analytics, and Support teams.
About the team Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) is an advanced analytics product that is secure, privacy-safe, and dedicated cloud-based environment in which advertisers can easily perform analytics across multiple, pseudonymized data sets to take actions for their Advertising Activities. We are building capabilities where customers can perform custom measurement, media planning, targeting and optimization (deterministic and machine learning model based). This is multi-year greenfield project with exposure to direct customers, building software as a solution (SAAS) on native AWS stack, building framework to perform advanced analytics including machine. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
