Associate Design Manager (Remote)
Location: Hershey, PennsylvaniaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $30 - 45 per hour We are seeking a Senior Packaging Designer, a creative and strategic professional with expertise in packaging and merchandising design. This role involves developing design solutions that align with brand standards and customer needs, while ensuring efficient workflow and team collaboration. The Senior Packaging Designer will lead the creation of visual concepts, presentations, and proposals, manage project timelines, and motivate the team to explore innovative design possibilities. You will also coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment, conduct competitive research, and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance design quality and team efficiency.Responsibilities: Design and implement visual concepts for packaging and merchandising, integrating graphics, text, and images to align with brand vision and creative briefs. Prepare presentations, mood boards, and proposals. Lead project meetings to clarify concepts, timelines, and objectives, present ideas, and motivate team members to explore creative possibilities beyond initial scope. Coordinate with internal teams and external contributors, including photographers, illustrators, and structural engineers, to maintain alignment and ensure effective project flow. Conduct competitive research to stay current on trends and stimulate innovative design solutions. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance creative quality, tools, and team efficiency. Qualifications: Portfolio showcasing design expertise. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and design software. Strong skills in project management, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts, Design, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in packaging design.
