GENERAL SUMMARY· Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.· Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.· Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.· Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.· Completes and signs “Request for Contingent Status: Conditions for Employment” specific to their contingent option.· Contingent Option 1 Unit-based contingent that reports directly to the Unit Manager/Unit Director.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED· Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.· Contingent RN Option I - Previous 1.5 -2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIREDCurrent licensure by the Michigan State Board of NursingAdditional Information
