Part-Time Household Assistant / Personal Assistant (10 hours per week) – New York, NY (Hybrid) $30-$45 per hourSeeking a proactive, detail-oriented Household Assistant / Personal Assistant to support a busy professional in New York City. This is a long-term, part-time role for approximately 10 hours per week with a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate is independent, organized, and capable of managing a variety of personal and household tasks with minimal direction. The position includes both in-person and remote work, with the bulk of tasks being flexible and able to be completed independently.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage deliveries, returns, donations, and consignment items
  • Run local errands including dry cleaning, grocery shopping, and alterations
  • Coordinate appointments, bookings, and travel arrangements
  • Research projects and compile information as needed
  • Calendar management and reminders
  • Light tidying, organizing, and home upkeep
  • Fold and put away laundry; occasional light ironing
  • Assist with longer-term or administrative household projects
  • Occasionally be on-site to accept deliveries
Schedule & Compensation:
  • Approximately 10 hours per week
  • Weekdays only (no weekends required)
  • Flexible schedule (can be structured or adjusted week to week)
  • Compensation: $30–$45 per hour, depending on experience
Qualifications:
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and self-motivated
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital tools and scheduling apps
  • Familiarity with NYC and ability to complete local errands
  • Professional, discreet, and dependable
  • Must be able to provide 3-5 professional references
  • Must have U.S. work authorization
