Executive Assistant to Co-Founders - Software Startup - New York City (Hybrid)

BURKE+CO. THE GIST: Our client, a well-backed software start up, seeks an expert Executive Assistant to support their co-founders. This role will expertly handle all of the founders' day to day administrative needs, establish new processes, and act as an extension of their executives. The ideal candidate has experience supporting c-level leadership at a fast-growing tech startup and will bring their expertise to the role.   • Act as an extension of the co-founders & company with professionalism & polish
  • Coordinate travel and prepare itineraries
  • Expertly prioritize founders' time, oversee calendar management, organize meetings, and address scheduling conflicts
  • Manage email inbox and respond to internal & external communications with a sense of urgency & professionalism
  • Plan company events, offsites, and meetings
  • Assist with light personal assistance tasks (booking appointments, making reservations, ordering lunch)
  • Attend meetings and calls to note important action items and send corresponding follow-ups
  • Prepare presentations and meeting materials
  • Track and process expenses
  • Assist with various tasks and projects, as needed

THE ESSENTIALS:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Experience supporting a c-level executive or founder at a tech startup/hypergrowth tech company required
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
  • Proactive nature
  • Strategic & process-oriented mindset
  • Clear & concise communication style
  • Stellar organizational skills
  • Adaptable nature and ability to shift priorities as needed
  • Slack experience a plus!
