EAP Consultant to provide supportive services to individuals, teams, and units. Consultant will be embedded at Roanoke Memorial Hospital and will be available to respond to psycho-social needs and provide confidential counseling, consulting and coaching on site. Some travel to other hospitals within Carilion Clinic required. Full time exempt position working 10:00am to 7:00pm and/or 11:00am to 8:00pm and two weekend days per month. Shift differential will be applied to hours worked on weekend days. What We Require: Education: Masters degree in counseling field required. Experience: EAP experience preferred. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Certified Employee Assistant Professional (CEAP) required, or procurement of such within 1 year of hire. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia preferred. Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills required. Familiarity with EAP core technologies, or essential components (skills, knowledge and abilities) of the Employee Assistance profession. Competent in Word Suite, especially Power Point expertise required. Critical Incident Stress Debriefing as in the Mitchell Model or comparative technique required.
