This pivotal role is essential in delivering exceptional service to patients while managing administrative tasks related to behavioral health services. As a Virtual Receptionist, the individual will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring their inquiries are handled efficiently and compassionately. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral health terminology and the ability to support patients with empathy and professionalism. Responsibilities - Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families during telephone, email, and virtual interactions. - Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups for behavioral health services. - Obtain and verify patient information and insurance details, ensuring accurate data entry into the... system. - Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide appropriate resources as needed. - Facilitate communication between patients and behavioral health providers, ensuring timely responses to inquiries. - Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. - Maintain accurate patient charts and records, ensuring seamless transitions between care providers. - Support the administrative team with additional tasks as needed to ensure efficient operations.
