Your daily duties will involve delivering parcels of all sizes and shapes, providing exceptional customer service, and representing UPS with pride and distinction. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Mail Delivery Driver: • Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations is crucial when operating a UPS delivery vehicle to promote safety and prevent accidents. • Pick up parcels, transport them securely, and distribute them expeditiously to various locations, including households and offices. • Make it a priority to deliver excellent customer service to all customers, ensuring that their experience is always positive. • Conformity to the UPS Uniform and Personal Appearance Guidelines is necessary to project a professional demeanor. • Utilize handheld devices to manage delivery routes and increase efficiency, while providing customers with reliable and timely service. • Wear the clothing allotted by the company to follow the UPS appearance regulations. • Generally work full shifts, which typically run from 8 to 10 hours per day. Qualifications and Experience of Mail Delivery Driver: • Proficiency in handling items weighing up to 70 pounds. • To apply, candidates must have a valid driver's license. Although a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required, the specific license type may differ based on your state of residence. • Pass the mandatory physical examination as per the DOT regulations. • First-rate service and top-notch driving skills. • The ability to work in the U.S. is not only a legal right, but it is also essential for individuals to support themselves and their families.
