The Senior Software QA Engineer, DevOps will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of the software application within a Cloud environment. Responsibilities... ? Develop and Maintain automated test suites for functional, regression and performance testing ? Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. ? Implement and manage test frameworks for various layers of the application stack. ? Collaborate with the infrastructure team to define and implement infrastructure as code for testing environments. ? Ensure that testing environments mirror production environments using IaC Principles ? Implement and maintain configuration management tools for infrastructure. ? Collaborate with operations teams to define and implement monitoring and logging solutions. ? Proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact users/clients ? Work closely with development, operations, and other cross functional teams to promote a culture of collaboration and shared responsibilities ? Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and provide valuable input on quality related aspects of the software development life cycle ? Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency of the development and testing processes ? Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team. ? Accountable to ensure the assigned areas are being released with excellence (High quality). ? Analyzes engineering metrics and makes suggestions to improve KPIs. ? Suggests enhancements to the functional and technical aspects of products. ? Drive process improvements forward. ? Mentor QA Engineers on small areas of the OneStream product. Skills ? 4 years of experience in quality engineering in a DevOps environment. ? Experience in SQL queries/database experience. ? Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks ? Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Travis CI ? Proficient in scripting languages (Phython, Powershell) ? Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) ? Solid understanding of version control systems (Git) ? Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Prefer Azure, or GCP) ? Strong troubleshooting skills; client engagement. ? Strong Estimating and risk assessment skills. ? Effectively collaborates across teams/organization. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills. ? Proven experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies ? Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills ? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or experience. ? Hands on experience building CI/CD pipelines and containerized solutions ? 3 years of experience with test automation tools including Selenium, TestComplete or other automation tools ? Hands on experience working with Azure and Kubernetes deployments ? Azure Certification/s ? Define, refine, support, and follow established processes. ? Takes initiative to learn new technologies and testing techniques to share with the organization. ? Proactively takes on new tasks and assignments beyond individual team-based expectations. ? Proactively communicates ideas, issues, risks and status. ? Strong client focus for elevating quality standards. ? Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship.
