Skills: SQL, Agile Tools, JIRA, Clarity, ADO Boards, Scrum, API mapping, Waterfall SDLC, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Process Mapping and Visualisation, Stakeholder Management Skills, Excellent Communication Skills, Knowledge of SCB Processes Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Remote Job type: Full Time Notice Period: Immediate -15 days Rel Experience: 10+ years only Job Summary: Documentation • Business Requirement Document (BRD) / User Stories / Functional Specification Document (FSD) / Business Glossary / Data Model / Test Strategy / Project Plan, Process Flow diagram etc. • Report types - Requirement Matrix/Gap Analysis/Problem Analysis/Business Case, etc. • Process/Data Modelling - 'As Is'/'To Be'/ Visio/Enterprise Architect, etc. • Project Management Methodologies - Waterfall SDLC, Agile, Scrum etc. • Strong data analysis skills using SQL, MicroStrategy or Tableau preferable. • Proven problem-solving & process mapping & visualisation skills. Soft Skills • Communication/Negotiation/Relationship Building/Influencing/Coaching or mentoring junior BAs to build their skills • Experience in Agile tools (i.e., JIRA, Clarity, ADO Boards, Confluence, etc.) • Good understanding of APIs and has experience in API mapping. • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written). • A ‘can do’ attitude committed to doing ‘what its takes’ to deliver. ‘Agile’ mindset. Whilst not being the subject matter expert, having the ability to learn quickly, listen, synthesize the issues, and articulate for senior management with recommendations. • Diligent and detail orientated. • Ability to create effective work relationships across functions & borders at both junior and the most senior levels of the bank. • Excellent stakeholder management skills. • Understanding of Project Governance standards, change management, financial management, project lifecycle and related lifecycle stages • Current Knowledge of SCB processes, governance, and standard for project/programme management (new Way of Working - nWOW), risk management, pre/post implementation is a plus. • An industry-recognized BA certification is a plus. Processes • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. • Performing requirements analysis. • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts. • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports. • Working closely with clients, business, and managerial staff. • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements. • Performing user acceptance testing. • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance. • Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures. • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements. • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users. • Conduct research to see what's new and trending in the digital / data space internally and externally • Creating and maintaining a prioritized Product Backlog • Clearly communicating priorities, sprint goals and acceptance criteria to the scrum team • Defining user stories to facilitate clear communication of requirements to the scrum team, including 'definition of done'. • Act as a key player in the different events of the development cycle: daily scrums, team demos and retrospectives, SIT, UAT and sign-off from business stakeholders. • Review test cases and evidence to ensure enough test coverage Risk Management • Coordinates, escalates, and reports on key risks and issues. Recorded in Bank’s project management tools (e.g., Clarity, PlanView, ADO), and proper and timely mitigations for closure in Refinement Forum. Governance • Maintain requirements library (SharePoint / Teams / Confluence / ADO) including submitted papers and meeting minutes of various Governance forums. • Provide support to Management Team, Workstream Leads, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and development team to identify areas of improvement and to ensure that BA process follow the Bank’s NWOW standards, processes, and governance. • Ensuring that all submissions to committees / forums are of the right qual. please send your resume to [email protected] Apply Job!
