About the position The Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager for Global Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Sustainability at Verizon is responsible for driving strategic business partnering and insights within the FP&A organization. This role involves forecasting, reporting, operational analysis, and providing financial guidance to optimize cost structures and improve logistics efficiency. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational strategies, making it integral to the success of Verizon's supply chain operations. Responsibilities • Owning the development and communication of the plan and forecasting for GSSCS. , • Evaluating business trends and results to provide strategic financial and operational guidance. , • Creating financial models for scenario planning and analyzing market disruptions. , • Working closely with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational strategies. , • Advising on risk and opportunity considerations for managing cost and profitability. , • Providing decision support and guidance, leading ad-hoc presentation development and executive review. , • Presenting and communicating financial insights to all levels of the business. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. , • Six or more years of relevant experience in finance or supply chain operations. , • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). , • Experience managing complex processes and working cross-functionally. , • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Nice-to-haves • A Master's in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics. , • Experience in the technology and/or telecommunications industry. , • High degree of analytical capability with financial modeling skills. , • Strong strategic skills with the ability to assess key points and implications. , • Advanced understanding of corporate financial planning and costing methodologies. , • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA). , • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and project management. , • Proficiency in Essbase, Smart View, Hyperion Planning, and Hyperion Strategic Finance.
