Job Details Job Details We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Workers Compensation Associate Attorney to join our prestigious law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a solid legal background to take on challenging and diverse legal assignments. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing team that handles complex legal matters and will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base. Responsibilities As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your duties will include but are not limited to • Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and provide legal advice. • Preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda. • Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments. • Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials. • Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations, as well as potential risks and outcomes. • Negotiating settlements in civil disputes. • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and legal trends. • Ensuring all legal activities adhere to compliance and ethical standards. • Participating in business development activities to attract new clients. Qualifications To be considered for the Permanent Associate Attorney position, you must have • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to the state bar. • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an attorney in a law firm • Proven experience in conducting extensive legal research and analysis. • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to handle adversarial situations with tact and diplomacy. • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. • Familiarity with legal software and advanced proficiency in MS Office. • High ethical standards and professional integrity. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
