Description: • Handle invoice preparation and patient account management. • Interact with patients with outstanding balances. • Coordinate with medical insurance providers for payment authorization. • Oversee patient accounts and ensure timely settlements. • Administer patient accounts and generate invoices. • Enter patient data accurately and maintain records. • Confirm account delivery to patients. • Manage phone calls and email correspondence. • Gather and document patients' medical insurance information. • Follow up with patients regarding overdue accounts. • Comply with regulations and hospital protocols. • Enhance job proficiency through networking. Requirements: • Completion of high school or equivalent (GED). • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience within a medical or healthcare environment. • An Associate's degree in accounting, business, or economics may be preferred. • Fundamental mathematical aptitude. • Strong communication abilities to interact with medical insurance companies and clarify financial matters to both patients and staff. • Exceptional organizational skills to swiftly locate files or patient records. • Keen attention to detail to proficiently maintain patient records and ensure accurate account entries. • Capability to process cash or credit card transactions. • Competence in entering account data to generate patient statements. • Familiarity with medical coding procedures.
