Job Description: My Gym is currently hiring a children?s gymnastics coach/fitness instructor. We?re seeking out someone who has a passion for fitness and play, really likes kids, and loves to be part of a tight-knit team that works closely with children and families. A job at My Gym goes beyond just teaching ?Mommy and Me? programs, fun beginning gymnastics and Ninja Training obstacle courses; it is one where you build relationships and get to invest in the youth of our community! Our amazing curriculum is provided to our team by our corporate programming team each week. We know you will have fun with it too! Position Requirements: Ability to work up to 25 hours per week, including weekends (one weekend day is required) Ability to attend our weekly meeting and training on Mondays from 1:00-5:00 (paid). Highly energetic Exceptional interpersonal communication skills Experience working with children Background in gymnastics, cheer or dance Stage presence (if the idea of performing sounds scary, we might not be the right fit for you) Effective leadership and motivational skills Willingness to clean (cleaning is a huge part of what we do - it's how we keep each other and our kids safe & healthy) Effective time management Adept sales skills Clean background check Starts at $16 per hour + tips + $25 per party bonus. Upon completion of training and becoming a shift lead, $17 per hour. Average trained staff member earns $17-$21 per hour when considering tips and party pay.
