Job Overview We are seeking dedicated college students currently pursuing Education Degrees who possess a passion for tutoring K-12 students across various subjects. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to gain practical teaching experience, engage with students, and cultivate essential skills for your future career in education. Key Responsibilities • Provide personalized tutoring to K-12 students in designated subjects • Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to students' unique needs • Evaluate and document student progress regularly • Foster a supportive and motivating learning environment • Communicate student needs and progress effectively with our educational team Required Skills • Strong ability to connect with students • Excellent communication abilities • Capacity to multitask effectively • Proficiency in established curriculum-based programs • Ability to motivate and guide students during instruction • Skills in recognizing and rewarding students’ achievements Qualifications • Reading/English Tutors: Must be pursuing an Education/Teaching Degree • Math Tutors: Proficiency up to Algebra 2 (Education Degree not required) • Test Prep (ACT/SAT) Tutors: Strong ACT/SAT score (30/1400 or higher preferred) • Preferred Experience: A minimum of one year in teaching or tutoring Career Growth Opportunities This position offers aspiring educators the chance to enhance their resumes significantly and improve their prospects for securing future teaching roles.
