Job Title: Service Assistant - Compliance Eligibility to Work in the UK: Candidates applying for the Service Assistant - Compliance position at National Trust must possess eligibility to work in the United Kingdom. Job Overview: As a Service Assistant - Compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that National Trust properties adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Your commitment to maintaining compliance standards will directly contribute to the preservation of our historic properties and the safety and enjoyment of our visitors. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections of National Trust properties to assess compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with property managers and teams to develop and implement corrective action plans to address any compliance issues identified during inspections. Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant legislation and regulations, and communicate updates to property teams to ensure ongoing compliance. Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training programs for staff and volunteers. Support the development and maintenance of compliance documentation, records, and reports. Required Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in a compliance-related role or a similar field is preferred. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and relevant legal requirements is highly beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively analyze complex information.
