VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual School Social Worker to provide support to students in need of social-emotional assistance through our teletherapy platform. This remote position allows you to make a meaningful impact to students in Michigan while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. Key Responsibilities... • Provide virtual counseling and support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community resources to address student concerns • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on student assessments • Assist with crisis intervention and provide referrals to appropriate services as needed • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing comprehensive support plans for students • Maintain detailed records of sessions, progress, and reports Job Details: • Contract: 1099 independent contractor (self-employed) • Hours: Flexible schedule, aligned with school hours and student needs • Location: Fully remote, work from home • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) • Active state licensure as a School Social Worker • Experience working in school settings, with knowledge of IEPs and 504 plans • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling techniques (preferred but not required) • Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills • Reliable internet connection and video conferencing setup Why VocoVision? • Flexible work-from-home schedule • Competitive pay based on experience • Be part of an innovative and supportive virtual team • Access to cutting-edge teletherapy tools and technology How to Apply: If you're passionate about making a difference in students' lives through virtual social work, send your resume to [email protected].
