The Opportunity

Responsible for producing analyses in support of auto underwriting optimization. This position requires the technical ability to be hands-on, transforming raw data into meaningful analysis, and the communication skills to act as business-facing relationship manager.

The Work Itself

• Share Best Practices in development of statistical and predictive analytics to ensure Ally has access to deep information across the organization.
• Streamline third party usage and interface design of information dashboards to create consistency and efficiencies across the organization.
• Uses advanced coding to create predictive statistical and analytical models from the ground up.
• Incorporates use of algorithms into analytics & modeling.
• Ability to manipulate algorithms and advanced coding.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and experimental design.
• Strong statistical background and ability to create rigorous statistical model.

The Skills You Bring

• 3+ Years of analytics experience required
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with database programming tools (SaS, SQL, python) required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments.
• Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor.

Base Pay Range: $85000 - $150000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
