Solutions Engineer (JavaScript) - Remote

Overview We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to lead technical implementation, ensure proper integration of Blotout on client websites, and optimize event tracking across ecommerce platforms.

Requirements

• 2-6 years in technical customer-facing roles such as solutions engineering, technical consulting, or customer implementation.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and web development frameworks.

• Experience with API integrations, tracking pixels, and web analytics implementations.

• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento.

• Experience with debugging tools, browser developer tools, and performance monitoring.

• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Customer-focused mindset with ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementation, working directly with clients’ development teams.

• Conduct site codification and configuration to capture critical customer journey data (page views, purchases, cart events, form submissions).

• Diagnose and resolve integration issues, optimize event firing to maximize data capture.

• Provide technical consultation on best practices and deliver recommendations for optimizing data infrastructure.

• Monitor and troubleshoot performance across ecommerce platforms, ensuring minimal impact on site speed.

• Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and conduct training for client teams.

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify common implementation challenges and contribute to product improvements.

Job Details

Mode: Remote

Work hours: 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM (non-negotiable), flexible during the day for async work.
