Copywriter

Position Summary: The Marketing Copywriter 1 will create high-quality content that supports the bank’s marketing strategies and strengthens our brand presence. This role requires a creative thinker who can produce engaging copy that resonates with our target audience.

Essential Functions:

• Develop content for various marketing channels, including websites, emails, social media, and print materials.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to brainstorm and execute cohesive marketing campaigns.
• Ensure all content adheres to brand voice and style guidelines.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
• Edit and proofread content to maintain high standards of quality.
• Complete work efficiently and on time by setting priorities, establishing timelines, and leveraging resources, such as project management software.
• Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to this role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
• Report all compliance issues and violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 1-4 years copywriter or content creator proven experience preferred.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and SEO best practices.
• Proficient in working with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat.

Working Environment:

Some travel required, particularly within the Lincoln, NE area.

This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.
