POSITION SUMMARY Complete daily tasks, assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects primarily related to cash accounting and client inventory functions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform upload for daily lockbox deposit. Identify and process applications as indicated. Research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify, code and prepare paper checks for bank deposit. Enter and apply within the accounting system. Research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process daily wires, ACH payments, and foreign cash receipts. Identify and process applications as indicated. Research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Complete W-9 and other miscellaneous forms on behalf of the firm.
  • Process accounts receivable write-offs as assigned.
  • Research client payment histories and provide back-up data, as needed, to attorneys and clients.
  • Respond to client questions, both verbally and through written correspondence, regarding outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the AR and collections team as well as the billing group to resolve WIP and AR issues.
  • Prepare routine and ad hoc reporting as assigned.
  • Complete miscellaneous projects as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Prior accounts receivable experience in retail or professional services environment required.
  • This role is fully remote but must reside in a commutable distance to the applicable firm office.

SALARY Illinois based applicants only: The target annual salary range for this role is currently $61,000 - $71,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. Total compensation includes a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, yearly retirement contribution, and may include an annual discretionary merit bonus.
