Data Scientist

iHeartMedia, the number one audio company in America, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytics and programming background, with experience building machine learning models and working with large data sets. The role involves working with the data science team to define and scope data science solutions to solve complex problems, and building, improving, and testing robust statistical and machine learning solutions to drive impact throughout the organization.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in a data analytics role
• 2+ years experience building Machine Learning models
• 2+ years advanced programming skills in Python
• High Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of RDBMs like Postgres and Redshift
• Experience with ETL processing and data wrangling including fetching, munging, cleaning, pivoting, analyzing, aggregating, distributing, and visualizing
• Basic knowledge of statistics, algorithms, data structures, and machine learning
• Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field
