Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) in partnership with Retail Business Services (RBS) are a paid B2B service that aims to help key Vendors partner with Amazon. Vendor Consultant (VC) will help shape and deliver on a strategy for managing key metric pillars for Amazon AVS vendors. Soft Skills: bright, customer centric, driven, and creative. Vendor Constant will interface internally with leaders from RBS, Retail and Vendor Services teams and will be responsible for certain aspects of the vendor’s business with Amazon. Will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize business for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.com. Will conceive, create and analyze a wide range of data, to grow the vendor’s traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon. Also, will look into strategic and operational aspects of their business with Amazon, root cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting the vendor’s business. Vendor Consultant will be focused on the strategic and operational aspects of managing the customer relationships with our vendors. Key job responsibilities

  • Success will be measured by the performance of your internal teams on input metrics and impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience.
  • Partnering with Retail (AVS) Team to manage vendor relationship by championing the vendor’s needs at Amazon.
  • Build communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan for the vendors.
  • Build and execute on a strategic account plan that delivers on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and Amazon.
  • Work with internal Amazon teams/vendors to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience.
  • Conduct deep analysis on the handled issues for the vendors and develop recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience.
  • Provide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps and execution.
  • Establish long term partnerships with key vendor partners for the group of vendors handled.
  • Support the launches of new programs and features.
  • Conduct regular WBR, MBRs with the vendors highlight business metric performance and building action plans.
  • Metric influencing (ability to understand a metric and create realistic forecasts. Take calculated risks, and quick to react with new action plans)

Basic Qualifications

  • B2 Certification minimum (German)
  • 2+ years of experience in vendor/account/catalog management, buying/sourcing/sales, product management, supply chain
  • 2+ years of experience interacting with customers/stakeholders
  • 1+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel (Array and Statistical formulas)
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Fast learner and ability to deal with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of macros and data analytics
  • Ability to drive process or procedure improvements
  • Knowledge of tools such as Sharepoint, SIM-ticketing and project management tools as well as experience using scripts.
