Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes. Generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate designs. Conduct research to accomplish team goals, using a wide variety of qualitative methods and quantitative methods, including 1:1 interviews, focus groups, diary studies, field studies, usability tests, and surveys. Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders across design, product or program management, content design, data science, engineering and marketing. Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways. Embed with a product or program team to conduct applied research to understand users' behaviors, motivations and attitudes on using the products or services. Perform regular qualitative research using a variety of methods to influence organizational strategy, product direction, and feature development. Analyze user data through a variety of qualitative and quantitative channels including thematic analysis, persona development, journey mapping, and surveys. Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Anthropology or related field and two years of work experience in job offered or in a user experience research-related occupation. Requires two years of experience in the following: Handling complex information and adapting to a changing environment Taking product questions and translating them into actionable research plans including logical formulation of research hypotheses Instrument drafting and design involving structure, length, logic, question types, and best practices Managing research operations processes including participant recruitment, vendor coordination, and resource management Collecting and analyzing user insights through diary studies, field studies, surveys, 1:1 interviews, focus groups and usability studies Communicating research results to cross-functional stakeholders with data storytelling, presentation slides, and product and design recommendations Translating and advocating the implementation of research findings and user insights at the team and organizational levels Leveraging research insights to inform organizational strategy, product direction and feature development Public Compensation: $188,219/year to $221,540/year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry: Internet Equal Opportunity: Meta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
