Data Analytics Consultant As the Data Analytics Consultant, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth data analysis, developing reports, and creating interactive dashboards to support a multi-million-dollar eCommerce business. The successful candidate will take ownership of report creation, ensure data accuracy and delivering actionable intelligence that influences business outcomes. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to identify trends and patterns, and a deep understanding of data visualization best practices. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to refine business intelligence capabilities, enhance reporting efficiency, and contribute to the organization's data-driven culture. Your expertise will help advance the company’s analytical maturity, empowering teams with clear, strategic insights that inform key business decisions. Key Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Partner collaboratively with finance, marketing, operations, and sales teams to understand their unique data needs, conduct deep-dive analyses, uncover trends, and provide data-driven recommendations that enhance profitability and efficiency.
• Act as a consultative advisor to business leaders by providing actionable strategic insights—analyzing key performance metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, and crafting data-driven narratives that support decision-making and long-term business success.
• Take an insight-first approach in designing and developing reports and dashboards in Power BI. Ensuring they not only visualize data but also tell a compelling story, highlight key insights, and guide department heads toward actions that drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.
• Extract, analyze, and interpret source data from data warehouses and multiple external sources - ensuring accuracy and quality, while identifying patterns and predictive insights that improve forecasting and keep the business ahead of market shifts.
• Proactively troubleshoot data flows and dashboards to maintain seamless reporting processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend solutions that enhance data usability for business teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on key data sources and tables, guiding stakeholders—from finance to marketing—on how to fully leverage data assets.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, computer science, finance, economics, data science or equivalent degree paths
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in creating reports and dashboards
• Knowledge of SQL and the ability to create and run queries (2 – 3 years)
• Experience with Power BI development or other data visualization tool (2 – 3 years)
• Proven experience translating analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that are presented to and adopted by senior leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Acumen and experience with various types of business analysis
• Experience communicating with multiple levels of leadership

• Power Query and DAX experience
• Product data expertise
