Position: Country Program Coordinator (CPC) Location: Manama, Bahrain. New Cairo City or Cairo, Egypt. Amman, Jordan. Muscat, Oman Period of Performance: January 2026-January 2028 (EST) Time Commitment: 50% Contract Type: Grant Reports To: Simone Nasry Q2IMPACT is seeking a highly capable, mission-driven, and culturally competent Country Program Coordinator Space Program Initiative in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, and Oman. A successful Project Manager will be highly skilled in project management, agile software delivery, communication, project planning, and financial management. The Country Program Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day implementation and coordination of U.S.-funded initiatives in the assigned country, ensuring alignment with U.S. policy objectives and diplomatic priorities. This role requires close collaboration with U.S. embassies, interagency partners, and local stakeholders to deliver impactful programming that advances shared strategic goals. The coordinator will act as a critical link between the country-level activities and regional or headquarters-level program leadership. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the design, planning, and execution of in-country programs that advance U.S. foreign policy and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate closely with U.S. embassies to ensure all activities align with mission goals, diplomatic strategies, and host-nation priorities.
  • Facilitate collaboration among interagency stakeholders, including the Department of State, Department of Defense, and other U.S. government entities.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with host-country government agencies, civil society organizations, academic institutions, and private-sector partners.
  • Track program implementation against timelines, budgets, and performance indicators, reporting progress to regional or headquarters leadership.
  • Assist in organizing policy dialogues, training workshops, and exchange visits to strengthen local capacity and bilateral engagement.
  • Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts by collecting data, documenting best practices, and supporting adaptive program management.

Represent the program at local events, stakeholder meetings, and working groups to maintain visibility and credibility. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Minimum of 10 years consulting experience
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in diplomatic engagements
  • Knowledge of the Space Industry in country of applicant
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a “client first” attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams to successful outcomes
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of project management best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and exhibit flexibility based on changing client needs
  • High level of business acumen, ability to develop and implement strategy
  • Strong connector - make insightful connections to bring the right people together to solve problems and grow the business

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Master’s degree or higher
  • Prior experience leading diplomatic engagements

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel will be required three times a year
