Job Summary:

• Design and deliver engaging English language lessons to students of various ages and proficiency levels
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student participation and motivation
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials
• Utilize technology to enhance instruction, track student progress, and communicate with students and colleagues
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, share best practices, and support student learning

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification or license (Alaska teaching certificate preferred)
• Proven experience in teaching English as a second language, preferably in an immersion setting
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong technology skills, including proficiency in online learning platforms and tools
