About the Role: As a Youth Development Worker, you will be responsible for leading student groups in planned after-school activities, assisting with transitions, taking attendance, and providing support with snacks, clubs, and tutoring. You will also have the opportunity to assist with activities focused on art, social development, physical fitness, and career awareness. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead student groups in planned after-school activities
• Assist with after-school transitions and take attendance
• Provide support with snacks, clubs, and tutoring
• Assist with activities focused on art, social development, physical fitness, and career awareness
• Attend one Saturday or evening family event per month (3-4 hours in duration)

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Willingness and ability to be trained to complete tasks essential to the position
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, follow instructions, and use problem-solving skills
• Ability to practice ethical and professional standards of conduct
• Ability to motivate and assist children in building self-esteem and strengthening skills
• Ability to follow health, safety, and emergency procedures
