API Developer

We’re looking for a talented API Developer who knows their way around ERP systems and is ready to jump in and build rock-solid integrations. You’ll be working with our team at Campfire to connect our platform to various AR, AP, and financial software solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable API integrations between Campfire and third-party financial/ERP systems (e.g., AR, AP, GL modules).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand integration requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with speed and finesse.
• Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to integration best practices.
• Stay up to date with API standards, ERP trends, and new tools in the integration space.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in API development, with a focus on ERP or financial software integrations.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and common authentication protocols (OAuth2, API keys, etc.).
• Familiarity with ERPs such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
• Experience working with AR/AP/finance-related modules is a big plus.
• Strong debugging skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in a SaaS environment or love a good API challenge.
• Amenable to work on a night shift schedule.
