Anatomy Tutor - USU Tooele

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students enrolled in Anatomy courses, primarily on the Tooele Campus.
• Conduct tutoring sessions in-person and through Zoom online, from the campus.
• Assist students with understanding course content, homework, reviewing exams, and explaining concepts discussed in class.
• Collaborate with the Student Success Coordinator to assess student needs and update tutoring practices throughout the semester.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of Human Anatomy (BIOL 2320) and Human Physiology (BIOL 2420) with a B or better.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse population and build rapport with students.
• Willingness to attend training on online tutoring systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of Pathophysiology with a B or better.

Work Environment:

• The tutor will work on the Tooele Campus, with some flexibility to work remotely via Zoom.
• The schedule will include mostly evenings, with exact hours assigned by the supervisor based on course schedules.

Compensation:

• $18.00 per hour.
