About the Role:

As an Academic Tutor/Behavioral Coach, you will provide one-on-one support to students of all ages, helping them achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals. You will work closely with families, preparing lessons, tracking progress, and communicating effectively to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct coaching and tutoring support to students, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.
• Prepare engaging lessons and activities to promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Communicate regularly with families, sharing progress updates and scheduling information.
• Track client progress in our goal-tracking system and submit worked hours and updates in a timely manner.

• Competitive salary: $25-$35 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral, social, or emotional challenges.
• Availability at least 3 weekdays from 3pm-7pm, with flexibility for morning and weekend hours.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with experience using online management platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and valid CA Mandated Reporter Training Certificate of Completion.
