Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction to high school students in social studies, utilizing best practices and technology to promote student engagement and achievement
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special needs
- Utilize data and progress monitoring to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with colleagues and special educators to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators to ensure student success and progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Teacher Certification in social studies
- 1-3 years of teaching experience in a Texas public school or virtual setting
- Experience with mastery-based or individualized learning approaches (preferred)
- Strong communication and technology skills, with the ability to work in a virtual environment
