Chartered Town Planner (Remote) - Shape the Future of Urban Environments

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chartered Town Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of planning strategies and policies, prepare and review planning applications, and provide expert advice on complex planning issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of planning strategies and policies
- Prepare and review planning applications, appeals, and environmental assessments
- Provide expert advice on complex planning issues and legislative matters
- Engage with stakeholders, communities, and local authorities to build consensus and support for planning proposals
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality planning services
Requirements:
- Chartered membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
- Extensive experience in town planning, with a track record of successful project delivery
- Strong understanding of UK planning policies, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders remotely
- Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
