Position Overview
- Two Paraeducator positions available: K-2 Structured Classroom (Low Incidence) and 6th-8th Grade Float Position (General Education/Instructional)
- Competitive hourly rate: $27/hour
- 31.25 hours per week, from August 15, 2024, to June 4, 2025
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the instruction and support of students in K-2 and 6-8 grade classrooms
- Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and effective learning environment
- Participate in the implementation of educational plans and behavior management strategies
Qualifications
- Illinois Paraeducator Certificate required
- Experience working with students in K-2 or middle school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
