As an Italian Language Editor, you will be responsible for leading the translation and localization efforts for Italian-speaking selling partners, translating and editing content from US English to Italian, and refreshing and developing Italian linguistic resources. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program managers, legal counsel, and country managers, to foster linguistic excellence and enable Italian-speaking selling partners to have a seamless experience on our sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead translation and localization efforts for Italian-speaking selling partners
• Translate and edit content from US English to Italian
• Refresh and develop Italian linguistic resources, such as style guides, translation memories, and terminology databases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster linguistic excellence and enable Italian-speaking selling partners to have a seamless experience on our sites
• Participate in content management objectives and projects, process improvement, and quality management

Requirements

• Native speaker of Italian language with proficiency in US English
• 3+ years of experience in editing and localization in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Italian, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field
• Experience with CAT tools and CMS
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in editing and localization in a similar role
• Experience working in an agile content development environment
• Experience working with XML, HTML, and DITA
• Experience working as part of a global team with remote partners
