Role: Safety Advocate Location: Remote (US) Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 USD

About X's Safety Team:

X's Safety team is dedicated to ensuring a positive and secure experience for our users. We investigate and mitigate issues that could cause harm, such as spam, fraud, and harmful content. We are a fast-paced, innovative team committed to continuous improvement through data-driven insights and a growth mindset. We are constantly refining our policies, detection methods, and enforcement strategies.

You Will:

  • Resolve safety cases and tickets to improve content moderation and customer support processes.
  • Work across multiple operational workflows to identify and address safety concerns.
  • Provide valuable feedback to product engineering and policy teams to streamline workflows and enhance safety measures.
  • Ensure consistent and unbiased application of content moderation policies, exceeding industry standards for user support.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in content moderation or customer support.
  • Active X user.
  • Experience analyzing operational data and providing recommendations to inform policy and strategic decisions.
  • Ability to efficiently and accurately execute daily tasks to meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work US shift hours, including weekends and holidays, and be available on-call.
  • Non-English language proficiency is a plus.
