Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Security Analyst to join our team at Wells Fargo. As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and testing security controls, assessing how business functions interact with technology, and tailoring initiatives to respond to technological trends while exceeding IT security standards.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time opportunity to work with a leading financial institution, focusing on data security examination, risk management, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data security, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information to senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct data security interviews to improve awareness and compliance with Enterprise Data Security policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Perform remediation of security assessment audit issues, complex ad-hoc data, and responses to support data security risk management
• Provide guidance and direction in auditing assessment findings and mitigating controls to improve data security
• Identify and coordinate data resource portfolio vulnerabilities and certifications
• Provide advanced data aggregation and insights on data security risk exposure
• Develop and deliver Data Security Education Awareness and Training in accordance with the Enterprise Data Security Program guidelines
• Review and propose control standards for business impact and suggest modifications or clarifications as needed
• Direct security control testing and consultation with stakeholders
• Assess and interpret internal and Enterprise Data Security policies, procedures, and guidelines, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate and communicate with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve objectives

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Data Security Examination experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education

• CISSP, CRISC, or industry equivalent certification
• Experience with Power BI/Scene to create dashboards and interactive visual reports
• Related experience with large datasets from multiple sources
• Related experience in large enterprise environments and data security
