Behavioral Health Scribe - Part Time
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Behavioral Health Scribe to join our team on a part-time basis. As a scribe, you will play a vital role in capturing accurate and detailed documentation of patient encounters in real-time, ensuring seamless communication between healthcare providers and patients.
Job Summary
In this part-time role, you will work 20-35 hours per week, with a focus on providing exceptional support to our healthcare providers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the provider in navigating the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, responding to messages, and entering information as directed. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all entries in the EHR are authenticated and accurate, and that providers are notified of any advisories or alerts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers in navigating the EHR system and responding to messages
- Enter information into the EHR as directed by the provider
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
- Relay advisories or alerts to providers and obtain guidance on proper response
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the dress code
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and providers
Requirements
- 1 year of transcription, scribe, or medical assistant experience required
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
