Mail Inventory Associate

Role and Responsibilities: As a Mail Inventory Associate, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records for mail and packages. You will ensure that incoming and outgoing items are tracked effectively, contributing to seamless mail operations.
- Track and record incoming and outgoing mail and packages using inventory systems
- Ensure proper labeling, sorting, and storage of inventory items
- Verify shipment documentation and maintain inventory logs
- Assist with physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with mail carriers and processing teams to ensure workflow efficiency
- Operate scanning equipment and update tracking systems in real time
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory workspace following USPS guidelines
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive tasks accurately
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift packages and stand for extended periods
- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Previous experience in inventory management or logistics
