The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of software testing and a willingness to learn about both manual and automated testing methodologies. As a Junior QA, you will assist in ensuring the quality and reliability of our back-end systems, collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to contribute to high-quality fintech solutions.
Responsibilities:
Assist in designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for back-end services and APIs.Perform manual testing to identify and document software defects.Collaborate with developers to gain an understanding of the functionality and design of the application.Help ensure that new features and enhancements meet quality standards before deployment.Participate in regression testing to verify that existing functionality remains intact after changes.Support the automation of repetitive testing tasks with guidance from senior team members.Report and track defects using Jira, and help ensure timely resolution.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, learning about quality and testing aspects.Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.Requiriments for this challenge:
Basic experience in software testing, including manual testing.Familiarity with at least one testing framework or tool (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).Understanding of API testing concepts.Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and collaboration skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to learning and delivering quality software.Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment.Intermediate/advanced English.Diferenciais:
