Job Summary

This role will support development of the code base underlaying our automated underwriting engine, working in AWS environments, with heavy OOP tasks in Python forming a core of tasks

Key Responsabilities

•Applies advanced levels of critical thinking, expressed in expert-level python coding in pandas and pytest to identify and respond to defects and fix bugs within the custom in-house software solutions.

•Implements new features within custom in-house software solutions using advanced coding skills in python within an AWS ecosystem

•Collaborates heavily with an adjacent analytics/data-science/decision-science team that performs monitoring as well as Operational RnD tasks that are associated directly with this automated UW engine.

Balancing the requirements of both technicians and auditors, produces detailed technical documentation for the custom in-house software solutions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a python developer, coding, software engineering in Python or similiar
  • BS in Computer Science, IT, MLOps, Data Science, Analytics.
  • Full English Fluency
