Executive Business Partner

Remote · USA Full-time New today

Your opportunity

In the world of Executive Business Partners at Mollie, no day is the same. This role is made for you if you thrive on helping others succeed, enjoy keeping things structured, and love wearing many hats. We’re looking for a proactive, service-minded Executive Business Partner to our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). You will be the connecting factor and trusted partner across the broader Go-To-Market Leadership Team (‘GLT’), ensuring the CCO and team stay focused, aligned, on track and moving forward. An Executive Business Partner is the ultimate generalist; a unique blend of an Executive Assistant and a Project Manager. You’ll balance people oriented focus, operational, strategic and tactical work: from target setting and leadership accountability, to meeting hygiene, workshops, and executive communications. You’ll bring structure where needed, clarity when it’s missing, and calm in the middle of complexity, all while building strong relationships along the way. This role is also a perfect opportunity for a young professional to kickstart or accelerate your career by shadowing the CCO. You’ll gain front-row exposure to leadership decision-making, whilst having the chance to grow into other roles within Mollie as your career develops. It goes without saying that there are also enough opportunities within this role to grow. It’s a unique opportunity to make a big impact in a fast-paced, international scale-up, while building a strong network with senior leadership.

What you will be doing

  • Calendar & administrative support: Support the CCO with calendar management, travel management and other administrative tasks to keep priorities clear and ensure the CCO remains organised and focused.

  • Target setting & accountability: Coordinate target setting with the broader Commercial Leadership Team, proactively track progress, manage timelines, and ensure follow-up on deliverables.

  • Meeting hygiene & action follow-up: Prepare agendas, take notes during key meetings, and ensure actions are followed up. Anticipate what’s needed for decision-making and make sure everyone comes prepared.

  • AI-first working: Champion the use of AI tools in daily work, and support the team in learning how AI can strengthen workflows and business cases.

  • Executive communications: Manage and reply to emails on behalf of the CCO, and support in drafting executive communications (increasingly supported by AI tools).

  • Leadership projects & events: Organise and facilitate workshops, offsites, and leadership events to drive alignment and impact (focus on internal projects, not marketing events).

  • Operational excellence: Track timelines, priorities, and dependencies to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Connector role with a human touch: Be the human link between the CCO, the GLT and the wider organisation. You build trust, create strong personal connections and ensure people feel heard and aligned. By combining empathy with structure, you enable smoother collaboration, stronger relationships and seamless information flow.

About you

  • 5+ of experience supporting senior leadership in high-growth of a fast-paced environment or you are a young professional that just got their Master or Bachelor and would like to kick-start their career.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to keep multiple priorities on track.

  • AI-first mindset: you actively look for ways to innovate and make the team more effective with new tools.

  • You work with a strong sense of urgency. Things get done because of you.

  • Positive, service-minded, and approachable, with a flexible mindset.

  • Able to flex between practical and corporate. Switching easily between hands-on tasks and strategic initiatives.

  • Hungry, proactive, and resilient: your attitude and work ethic make the difference.

  • Clear and confident communicator in English (Dutch is a plus).

  • Comfortable working remotely, but motivated by building face-to-face connections across the company.
