.NET/C# Developer

Build the Future of Apps at NPX

We’re looking for a .NET Developer to help build the future of NPX's client-facing applications. In this role, you’ll play a critical role in shaping applications that are redefining how nuclear power plants operate. The features you build will directly reduce manual effort for engineers, increase the visibility of critical metrics, and help teams mitigate risk before issues escalate. 

You’ll develop scalable back-end infrastructure, all designed to support the people who keep nuclear facilities safe and reliable. You’ll collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product designers to bring ideas to life, improve adoption across teams, and continuously evolve applications that have become essential infrastructure for clients. 

This is a role for someone who wants their code to matter; who wants to contribute to meaningful systems that improve safety, performance, and decision-making in one of the most important industries on the planet - nuclear energy.

Salary Range:

• Develop responsive applications using .NET and C#.
   

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
   

• Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
   

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
   

• Develop and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and SQL queries.
   

• Works as part of a multidisciplinary team, including front-end developers, product managers, product designers, and data analysts.
   

• Proven experience as a software developer using .NET and C#.
   

• Experience building fast, visually appealing consumer-facing, scalable web apps. 
   

• Solid knowledge of
  RESTful API
  design and implementation.
   

• Strong skills in
  API development and systems integration.
   

• Good working knowledge of
  SQL Server, PostgreSQL
  , or other relational databases.
   

• Proficient with deploying DevOps
  and CI/CD pipelines, and performing manual and automated testing in agile environments.
   

Bonus points if you also have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
   

• Startup experience.
   

• A growth mindset and genuine curiosity for how your work can shape tools used in critical, high-impact industries.
