Join our Finance team as an Accountant, where you will play a vital role in daily accounting operations and contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting across the company. You will be responsible for global invoicing, payables, cash management, payroll, monthly journal entries, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations. You will work cross-functionally with sales, customer success, data, and revenue operations.

What profile are we looking for :

Knowledge:

- Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Proficient in Excel (ex. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, other basic formulas)Familiarity with French GAAP is required.

- Familiarity with US GAAP is a plus.

- Experience with Sage Intacct or other ERP systems is a plus

Experience:

- 4+ years experience in a similar role Experience in start-up, high-growth tech companies or fast-pace environment

- Business proficiency in French and English

- Excellent verbal & written communicationAttention to detail & organized are a must

- Technology industry experience preferred

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team of three (a CFO and two accountants — one based in the US and one in France.)

As an Accountant, you will support accurate and timely general ledger activities and ensures compliance with our financial policies. This role plays a vital part in daily accounting operations and contributes to the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting across the company. You will own global invoicing, payables, and cash management and help with payroll, monthly journal entries, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

You will work cross functionally with sales, customer success, data, and revenue operations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Assist with global month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

- Own Global Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes by ensuring timely customer invoicing and vendor payments.

- Assist with global payroll functions

- Prepare routine journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with expense analysis.

- Provide audit support by gathering requested documentation and preparing audit schedules.

- Help compile tax-related information and coordinate with external tax consultants as needed.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
