Job Responsibilities

As a Recruiter for Wendy's Wonderful Kids, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing recruitment plans: Create and implement strategies to generate a culturally diverse pool of resource families for children in need.
  • Coordinating necessary authorizations: Ensure that all necessary authorizations are in place to utilize photos of children in the recruitment process.
  • Conducting monthly visits: Travel throughout the state to conduct monthly visits with referred children, including assessing their needs and developing plans to support them.
  • Hosting child-focused recruitment events: Organize and host events or activities in the service area to engage with community members and promote the Wendy's Wonderful Kids program.
  • Completing monthly statistical and programmatic reports: Submit timely and accurate reports to track program progress and identify areas for improvement.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or equivalent field: A degree in a related field is essential, with a Master's degree being a plus.
  • Prior adoption social work experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in adoption social work is required.
  • Strong public speaking, interpersonal, and community relationship skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent interviewing, observation, diagnostic, and family assessment skills: The ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop effective plans is critical.
  • Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience in the U.S.: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary for this role.
